Cari Morales has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector connecting resources to opportunities. She is a driven community development professional who seeks creative ways to strengthen relationships and communities through her passion for justice and change. Cari grew up in the Midwest and is the daughter of a Puerto Rican mother and a Nicaraguan father. She has worked for a community development financial institution in Indianapolis for four years, collaborating to improve the quality of life in disinvested neighborhoods throughout the city. Before her time in Indianapolis, she spent three years organizing communities of faith in Pinellas County, FL to implement policy changes in dental care, education, and the juvenile justice system. Cari moved to Cleveland as a National Urban Fellow at The Cleveland Foundation in 2019 and is currently at The Fund for Our Economic Future supporting Racial Equity initiatives at Cuyahoga County in the Department of Development.
